Generally, net carbs are calculated by subtracting dietary fiber from the total carbs. On either a ketogenic or paleo diet, fiber doesn't technically count as carbs. This is because it is not being digested, and it passes through the body very fast.
However, the government does not consider either of these ingredients as dietary fiber, so they are counted as net carbs. This means that legally, the label on their products has to say three grams of carbs and not only one gram.
This can potentially turn into a big problem. A strict keto diet only allows the person to consume 20 to 25 carbs daily.
So now, if you drink three cups of coffee a day while using a whole serving of Prymal coffee creamer each time, the numbers add up to nine net crabs, which is almost half of your daily allowance.
